Is Rocky III actually the most rewatchable?
Posted by Round14Rick
It has Mickey's death, Clubber, Thunderlips, the beach, Eye of the Tiger, and Apollo becoming a friend instead of a rival — all in about 100 minutes. Nothing in the series moves that fast. Is III the one you put on when you just want to watch Rocky, even if it isn't the best film?

The Creed films: worthy legacy or different show?
Posted by Round14Rick
Creed gave the story real new life and Adonis earned his own arc. But some fans feel the Creed films are their own thing rather than a continuation of Rocky. Where do you land — do they belong in the same conversation as the original six?

Best speech in the whole franchise

The "you ain't gonna be nothin' but a loser" from Mickey. Rocky telling his son about the world not being all sunshine and rainbows. Rocky's speech in Russia. Apollo's locker room talk. Which one hits hardest for you, and do you know it by heart?

Best Rocky film of all time — settle it

Everyone's got their pick. Rocky I is the Oscar winner and the most honest story. Rocky II gives us the rematch we needed. Rocky III is the most quotable. Rocky IV is pure spectacle. Rocky Balboa is the most emotional. Balboa fans, make your case — which one is the best film, not just your favorite, and why?

Clubber Lang vs Ivan Drago — who wins?
Posted by Round14Rick
Two totally different problems. Clubber is raw fury and short-range power. Drago is size, science, and a punch that killed a man in the ring. Put them in the ring with each other at their peak. Who's standing at the end, and how does it happen?

Was Apollo Creed the most important person in Rocky’s career?
Posted by balboaboy89
I know Mickey trained Rocky from the beginning, but Apollo changed the way Rocky fought and pushed him to become more than just a tough guy who could take punishment. Without Apollo, I’m not sure Rocky beats Clubber Lang or becomes the kind of fighter who could eventually face Drago. Mickey gave Rocky his foundation, but Apollo may have been the one who helped him reach his highest level. What do you think?

Biggest Turning Point for Rocky
Posted by jake1rockyb
I think the biggest turning point in Rocky’s career was losing Mickey and then training with Apollo. Rocky was already a champion, but at that point he had kind of lost the edge that made him dangerous. Apollo pushed him to fight smarter instead of just taking hits and outlasting people. It also mattered because Rocky had to deal with losing the person who basically built him from the start. Instead of falling apart, he let someone who used to be his rival help him become better. To me, that was the moment Rocky had to actually change as a fighter, not just prove he had heart.
